Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank (WIB) is a 100% subsidiary of WestLB AG. As a specialist bank and a centre of competence for property financing it places at the disposal of its domestic and international clients a multi-faceted product portfolio, a range of services, and its deep know-how and expertise. The WIB balance sheet amounted to 23 billion in 2005, and the bank employs around 450 staff.

In the residential mortgage area, WIB primarily finances owner-occupied buildings nationwide up to an individual financing sum of €1 million.
