With its high borrowing requirements, the commercial housing industry faces the threat of a decline in the number of providers and rising margin requirements. Under the lead management of the AGW (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wohnberatung = Consortium for Real Estate Development Projects), a series of housing companies are aiming to gain direct access to the capital market in order to position the asset class "commercial housing" and its traditionally low default risk with investors.
