This index only considers transactions involving existing owner-occupied homes without any additional modernisation costs. No restrictions apply in respect of living space, land area and age of the building.

The following explanatory variables are incorporated into the regression model

• Living space in square metres
• Land area
• Age of building (five classes)
• Region (West / East / North / South)
• BBR location variables (distance rings around urban regions), travel times
